Chef Nowak gets rave reviews in Scene Magazine’s Best of Cleveland Edition


Word is out that Chef Nowak is a rising star in Cleveland’s amazing food scene.  Read the rave review that calls Chef Nowak a “seasoned pro” HERE.

Come see Chef Nowak as he Guest Chefs at the final 2010 Tremont Farmers Market in Lincol Park on Tuesday, October 26th. Taste the poplular Apple Proscuitto Pizza is back as well as Braised Ohio Pork Shoulder from a free-range pastured organic pig from our friends at Tea Hills Farm.

Tonight is the Duvel – Brewery Ommegang Party

Try a pint of the 2009 Adoration, a spiced Winter ale from Brewery Ommegang.  Duvel bottles are $5 and you can keep the glass.Tonight (Tuesday, October 19th from 6pm until close.)

Bell’s Brewery Celebration Tomorrow
The crew from Bell’s Brewery will be bringing the love to the Bier Markt.  We’ll be pouring Two Hearted IPA on draft and from the firkin hand pump so you can enjoy the different experience from the modern draft versus the traditional European hand pump.  The draft list will all feature Bell’s Best Brown Ale, Hell Hath No Fury & Amber.

Pumpkin Ale + Pumpkin Carving Contest

Buy any Pumpkin Ale and get a free Ohio pumpkin from Rittman Orchards to carve.  We recommend you put down the carving knife before you put down your fourth Pumpkin Ale!

Speakeasy 1 Year Anniversary Bash

It’s been a great year of culinary cocktails in Speakeasy.  Try our new cocktail menu featuring Matt “the Cocktail Czar” Stipe’s housemade falernum (a West Indian cocktail syrup made from almonds and spices), tobacco-infused bourbon, and some exceptionally creative cocktails.
Saturday, November 6th from 8pm until 2:30am.

When Extreme Makeover called to ask Chef Nowak and the Bar Cento family to donate food and catering to feed 300 cast, crew and volunteers we said yes.  We’ll keep you posted on a Watch Party when the episode airs.
